No Motivation? No Gym? No Time?….No Problem. Get Moving Now and Lose Your Excuses Forever!

Published by admin under Uncategorized

Ever just have one of those days you don’t feel like doing your workout? Didn’t feel like going to the gym? Favorite show on TV tonite? Too much work? Ever have those excuses add up for weeks…months…and then wonder what happened and why you are now 30lbs overweight? The answer is simple..consistent workouts breed results! So whenever you feel like creating more excuses…tell yourself, there are no more excuses for getting healthy…there are people who have bigger issues in life than you and yet they find a way to be active. Find your motivation and stick with it…whatever it may be. You have 100% control over what you do…and don’t do in life. No one to blame but yourself…heck don’t even blame yourself. Just stop the blame game altogether and take action today (and everyday)! So here’s just a sample of some videos you can use when you need that extra motivation! (Note all these videos have sound, so if you are at work, there is your warning)

Ever think Hollywood actors have it easy? Well look at some of the training from Mark Twight at Gym Jones for the movie 300 (where the guys are absolutely ripped and muscular). Tell me if that looks like some machine-based workout getting those results…or are they using the body the way it was meant to move?

or take a look at our friend Ross from Rosstraining who has been working hard with minimal equipment, a very busy schedule with work and home/kids….yet he finds no excuses to skip a workout and to keep us all motivated.

Personally I always like a little music to get me going….so here’s one football team working hard in the offseason with some rocking music.

ok you women out there….think weights are going to make you bulky and are just for guys? Well this one is for you courtesy of Crossfit.

and on the days you are full of excuses….this Nike commercial sums it up perfectly in 3 little (yet poweful) words…”Just do it”

So there it is. I don’t care if you go to a gym, workout at home, go to the park, do Crossfit, do bodyweight exercises, love to bike ride….whatever you are passionate in life, that is what matters. No excuses….lift heavy/challenge your muscles, be explosive, use your body in the movements it was meant to do, eat the right foods and your results are unlimited! Here’s one last clip about the ghetto workout for those who think they can’t workout if they don’t have access to a gym….again that is just another excuse that won’t cut it anymore. (WARNING: this video below may not be suitable for children/has some ADULT language in it…you have been warned, BUT you can still turn off the sound and watch it…as some of the movements here and creativity on how to workout anywhere are worth seeing). Here’s the video of some people that have never worked out in a gym….can’t afford a gym membership….are probably making less money than you and eat on a limited budget…and yet, they have no excuses…and they look better than 95% of the people who go to the gym on a regular basis!

It is the Steve Jobs commencement speech at Stanford and is well worth the 15 minutes it takes to listen to it. I suggest you listen to it with no other distractions around…because his words and his message is very powerful.

We hope you all continue to have health and fitness in your life and happiness in whatever you do. Like Steve Jobs says “Stay Hungry….Stay Foolish”. Enjoy the speech and we will see you very soon in one way or another! Keep a lookout for our logo…it will soon only be seen on good blogs and sites that we believe are worth our approval. We will be around….we still are dedicated to getting you the truth….we will be back better than ever in some way with the Fitness Spotlight name….that is a guarantee!
