How To Look Great Naked. Do I Look Fat in These ‘Genes’?

Growing up in the 80’s I was a big fan of Paulina Porizkova. It broke my heart when she married Rick Ocasek the lead singer of The Cars. I don’t care if he had awesome lyrics like this…

Ahh…I Loved the 80’s!

Okay…so I am dating myself a bit. My point is that Paulina was pictured on a very popular poster where she was wearing ripped up jeans and white t-shirt. She wasn’t wearing anything fancy and looked outstanding! I never did get to see her naked, but I saw her half-naked many times and I assure you she looked incredible with her clothes off! In fact, she could probably get away with wearing stripes in any direction and look incredible.

I Am Not a Big Fan of “Makeover” TV Shows

I am embarrassed to admit that I have actually seen an episode or two of The View. Yeah, I am a guy and I watched The View! It was an episode where they took a few women from the audience and put them in “flattering” clothes and did their hair and makeup differently. Sure they looked a little better, but they still weren’t living up to their potential. I wish people would “aim higher” and strive for great and not just settle for good. [A warning about watching The View if you are a man...your testosterone levels will be a bit lower for the next 48 hours. You will lose muscle.]

Why Not Just Do What It Takes to Get a Rocking Bod?

I believe that getting an amazing body is about 80% diet and 20% exercise. The diet part is pretty simple. The goal is to eat less calories than what you burn. The most recommended strategy is to eat 6 small meals per day, but people are slowly coming to the realization that this may not be the most “effective” strategy.

An Alternative to Eating 6 Meals Per Day

There is a way of eating called Intermittent Fasting, which involves strategically going through periods of fasting and periods of eating. Believe it or not, it is a much easier way to maintain low body fat levels year round. You will also feel more energetic and your digestive system will feel great. I have eaten this way for 5+ years and have been able to maintain around 6-8% body fat level during that time. Going into this diet is beyond the scope of this post. A good resource is: If Life.

A Strategic Way to Do Cardio

People have different views on cardio. Too much of it will burn muscle and backfire on you. Here is a way to burn Stubborn Body Fat without over-training and sabotaging your fat loss efforts. This workout will work much better if you don’t touch any calories for 4-6 hours before doing this.

  1. Do 10 minutes of High Intensity Interval Training
  2. Rest 5 Minutes (the body will release a fatty acids into the blood stream during this period of rest after the intense effort)
  3. So a low intensity version of cardio for 20-30 minutes to burn those fatty acids that are released into the blood stream.

Note: Many people do just HIIT on it’s own. This works well. The extra low intensity part is added during those times when you want to get “extra lean” like for a wedding, vacation, etc.

Getting in Great Shape is a Mindset More Than Anything Else

Obviously, the best way to look great naked is to get in amazing shape. To reach your highest potential, you have to “be” a fit person. You are not “getting in shape”, you are a “fit guy” or a “fit girl”. This is a BIG difference. “Getting in shape” is a temporary thing, but “being” fit isn’t. It is your identity. I know this sounds like a bunch of spacey stuff, but it makes all of the difference in the world!

Look Great Naked and Make the World a Beautiful Place!

Looking great isn’t everything in life, but it does make most activities a bit more fun. If you have the discipline to do what it takes to look great naked, you will be able to use those skills to reach higher goals. So you will be more likely to accomplish great things while looking sexy in the process. Sounds like a win-win situation to me!
